Our client is a world-class automotive supplier with nearly 50 years in the industry, seeking a skilled professional to oversee the relocation of part of its business from Germany to Croatia. We are looking for an individual who can bring extensive expertise in greenfield, brownfield, and factory relocation projects to ensure a successful transition. The role involves full P&L responsibility for the brownfield relocation project in Croatia, including the leadership and strategy needed to optimize the manufacturing process on time and within budget

Project Leadership: Take over full P&L responsibility for the brownfield relocation project in Croatia, ensuring efficient use of resources and adherence to timelines and budgets.
Team Building: Build and lead the relocation and launch team, ensuring that all new hires are on-boarded and motivated effectively.
Collaboration: Work closely with the engineering department and other colleagues at the group level to align on project requirements and execution plans.
Legal Compliance: Ensure all aspects of the brownfield project comply with local laws and regulations.
Stakeholder Communication: Maintain active communication with HQ, local stakeholders, and state authorities to facilitate smooth project operations.

The ideal candidate will embody the following qualifications and attributes:
Experience: 5-10 years as a plant manager or director of operations within an international environment, ideally in the automotive sector focused on high-volume production.
Technical Skills: Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, particularly within the automotive industry, and a proven track record in greenfield, brownfield, and factory relocation projects.
Leadership: Demonstrated managerial experience with full P&L responsibility, showcasing the ability to lead complex projects to successful completion.
Language Skills: Fluency in Croatian and English is essential, while German is advantageous.
Cultural Competence: Cross-cultural competency to operate effectively within an international environment, facilitating smooth interactions among diverse teams.
