About Our Client:

Our client is a leader in the sector of hydraulic systems and manufactures complex machinery for fluid management. To expand its manufacturing footprint the client is considering a greenfield investment outside of Germany (CEE, Balkan, Turkey, or eventually North Africa). We are looking for an interim COO who will manage the whole project from the selection of country/ site up to the launch of test production with ~100FTE.

Project Description:

⨫ communicate and negotiate with respective authorities, gov agencies, and external advisors ⨫ prepare location alternatives for the new greenfield investment ⨫ act as PMO, build a respective project management team with diverse stakeholders ⨫ project manage the construction of the plant, layout design, and interfaces within the existing supply chain activities ⨫ hire and on-board the first ~100 employees to launch production

Interim Manager Required Skills:

⨫ 10-15 years of experience as Plant Manager, COO ⨫ Proven track record from Greenfield, Brownfield investments ⨫ Mature cross-cultural communication style, respect and awareness ⨫ Experience from similar international assignments in Europe, Asia or Africa ⨫ English, German fluent
