138 – Plant Manager – Factory Relocation – Slovakia

About Our Client:

Our client is a leading global player in the segment of flexible polyurethane (“PU”) foam products. With almost hundred years of history, the company is present in more then 10 countries in the world with more than 30 operating manufacruting sites.

Project Description:

Take over full P&L responsibility for the Factory Relocation project from Germany to Slovakia, ensuring efficient use of resources and adherence to timelines and budgets. Lead the relocation and launch team, ensuring that all new hires are on-boarded and motivated effectively. Work closely with other colleagues at the group level, the sending and receiving site to align on project requirements and execution plans. Ensure all aspects of the factory relocation project comply with local laws and regulations. Maintain active communication with HQ, local stakeholders, and state authorities to facilitate smooth project operations.

Interim Manager Required Skills:

Experience: 5-10 years as a plant manager or director of operations within an international environment, ideally with experience in a manually intensive labor environment. Technical Skills: Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, operational excellence, and lean management tools, with a proven track record in factory relocation projects.

Key Requirements:

Proven track record in Factory relocation Solid uderstanding of operational excellence, lean and productivity Certified Project Management skills are of an advantage
