About Our Client:
We have an exciting project opportunity for an experienced Interim Supply Chain Manager to lead our client’s supply chain operations during the critical relocation of their manufacturing facilities from several international locations to Poland. This role is crucial to ensuring that all supply chain processes from planning and procurement to logistics and warehousing are aligned and executed on time to meet the project’s tight deadlines.Project Description:
- Planning and Forecasting: Develop and manage production planning and forecasting to meet relocation timelines and optimize resource allocation.
- Logistics Management: Oversee inbound and outbound logistics, ensuring smooth transportation and delivery processes throughout the transition.
- Procurement and Supplier Management: Maintain and strengthen relationships with key suppliers to ensure the continuity of supply.
- Warehousing Operations: Manage warehouse activities to support the relocation and ensure inventory accuracy and efficiency.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks to ensure the seamless execution of the relocation project without operational disruptions.
- Team Development and Leadership: Lead, mentor, and upskill the existing junior team to build their capability and ensure long-term success beyond the project.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as a key interface with internal teams, service providers, and suppliers to align and coordinate project activities.
Interim Manager Required Skills:
- Extensive experience in supply chain management and planning, preferably within manufacturing or industrial environments.
- Proven expertise in leading complex projects, particularly factory relocations or operational transitions.
- Strong planning and organizational skills, with hands-on experience in production planning, demand forecasting, and resource management.
- Exceptional leadership and team development abilities, with a track record of mentoring and developing high-performing teams.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, ensuring smooth collaboration and alignment across all project participants.
