About Our Client:
We are offering a high-impact interim CFO project within the portfolio of a respected Swiss Family Office. The assignment is based in Lower Silesia, Poland, where one of the portfolio companies, a mid-sized manufacturing business with approximately 200 employees, is currently undergoing a critical restructuring phase. Facing operational and financial challenges driven by market volatility and declining demand, the company is in crisis mode. Immediate interim leadership is required to restore control, enhance governance and transparency, and lead the turnaround toward stability and profitability.Project Description:
- Lead the financial and operational restructuring, ensuring stabilization and long-term sustainability.
- Establish robust management reporting and controlling systems to support fast, data-driven decisions.
- Implement disciplined cash flow, treasury, and working capital management.
- Strengthen governance structures and build a culture of financial transparency.
- Act as a trusted partner to the Family Office and the local leadership team during this crisis situation.
- Be present and operationally engaged on-site—this is a hands-on role requiring close involvement in day-to-day business processes.
Interim Manager Required Skills:
- Proven success in crisis management, financial restructuring, and turnarounds in similar mid-sized environments.
- Experience working with portfolio companies of family offices or private equity firms.
- Strong command of Polish GAAP; knowledge of international standards is an advantage.
- Fluent in Polish and English; German is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to drive change under pressure.
- Hands-on, operational mindset is a must – this role is deeply embedded in the business, not advisory from afar.
