243 Interim CFO ERP Post Implementation Support

About Our Client:

Our client is a European-headquartered industrial manufacturer serving mission-critical sectors such as food, pharmaceuticals, and defence. Operating as part of a publicly listed international group, the company runs a Czech-based site with approximately 200 employees and a complex custom production model. The site plays a strategic role within the group’s broader European footprint. Following the departure of the existing Finance Manager and a challenging ERP implementation, the client is seeking an interim executive to stabilise the finance function and lead the team through a period of transition, reporting consolidation, and operational recovery.

Project Description:

This assignment requires a seasoned finance executive capable of leading through complexity. The Interim Finance Manager will act as a site-level Interim CFO, owning all aspects of financial performance and reporting while coordinating directly with group-level stakeholders in Europe.
  • Interim Finance Manager reporting to group finance leadership and the local Site Director
  • Full functional leadership of the finance team, including monthly closings, IFRS reporting, Czech statutory compliance, and audit preparation
  • Recovery and stabilisation of a derailed IFS ERP implementation affecting core financial processes
  • Design and implementation of robust forecasting, budgeting, and cost control frameworks
  • Introduction of project-level costing and margin tracking to support complex low-volume manufacturing
  • Hands-on support and coaching of a junior finance team in need of operational guidance and leadership continuity
  • On-site presence required (minimum four to five days per week) to ensure high-impact delivery and immediate team support

Interim Manager Required Skills:

We are seeking a senior finance professional with deep experience in manufacturing finance, ideally gained through interim executive roles or CFO-level mandates in complex, change-heavy environments.
  • Former Finance Director, Plant Controller, or Interim CFO in industrial or custom manufacturing sectors
  • Strong experience with ERP implementation recovery (IFS preferred) and finance function optimisation
  • Technical fluency in Czech statutory accounting, IFRS reporting, budgeting, and financial control
  • Skilled in establishing financial visibility through dynamic forecasting and structured cost tracking
  • Pragmatic and hands-on leadership style; composed under pressure and able to quickly build team confidence
  • Effective communicator with strong cross-border stakeholder management skills
  • Fluent in Czech; English required for interaction with group finance and corporate leadership
This is a high-priority interim executive leadership assignment requiring rapid mobilisation and full-time on-site presence. The ideal candidate will be available immediately and able to commit through the third quarter to ensure a smooth transition to the incoming permanent hire. CE Interim will present only highly relevant and pre-qualified candidates with strong interim CFO credentials and post-ERP implementation success.
