Our client is a fast-scaling European SaaS company, privately owned and recognised as a market leader in digital management solutions. Founded over ten years ago, the business has grown rapidly across major European markets and now employs close to 1,000 professionals.

The company operates through a fully localised subsidiary in Berlin, with approximately 100 employees and a strong, independent market presence. Despite high product performance and accelerated success in France, Italy and other markets, the German sales organisation has underperformed relative to its commercial potential.

This interim executive leadership assignment has been created to provide immediate stability, protect revenue pipelines, and ensure operational continuity during a critical transition. The interim Sales VP will work under the strategic oversight of the Group Chief Sales & Customer Officer, with a clear focus on team cohesion, performance retention, and seamless handover at the end of the interim project.

 

Project Description:

This high-impact interim executive role is designed to ensure leadership continuity and protect commercial operations during a management transition in a key growth market.

  • Interim Vice President Sales Germany, reporting to the Group Chief Sales & Customer Officer
  • Lead and manage a medium sized team across direct sales, partnerships, and business development
  • Safeguard and delvelop pipeline momentum and internal team structure during leadership handover
  • Reinforce local presence and credibility within the Berlin-based commercial organisation
  • Operate within a pan-European, matrixed SaaS sales structure with defined functional interfaces
  • Act as a stabilising force while ensuring cultural alignment and business growth acceleration
  • Prepare the organisation for a smooth and professional transition to a permanent Sales VP
