With approximately €200+ million in annual revenue, the company is in a decisive post-acquisition integration phase, focused on achieving financial integration, compliance alignment, and operational efficiency across several recently acquired entities.
The group is now consolidating shared service functions, streamlining reporting frameworks, and leveraging synergies and economies of scale to support sustainable growth and enhanced governance.
One key production site, central to this transformation, requires experienced interim financial leadership to stabilise, integrate, and elevate its performance.
Project Description:
The Interim CFO will take full ownership of the site’s financial integration into the wider group structure, strengthening governance, transparency, and reporting accuracy. Reporting directly to the Divisional CFO and collaborating with both the Group CFO and Plant Management, this mandate combines strategic oversight with operational execution in a fast-evolving, PE-driven environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the financial integration and compliance process across local and divisional levels, ensuring alignment with group governance standards
- Driving post-acquisition efficiency programmes to realise cost synergies and economies of scale across finance and operations
- Overseeing reporting, financial closing, and consolidation for the site, embedding accuracy and timeliness in monthly results
- Strengthening internal controls, data integrity, and financial transparency in accordance with private equity compliance expectations
- Supporting a planned legal entity restructuring to enhance visibility, accountability, and reporting independence
- Coaching and developing the local finance team to sustain improved performance and ensure long-term continuity
Interim Manager Required Skills:
This role is suited to a senior interim CFO or Finance Transformation Director with extensive experience in industrial manufacturing, process industries, or engineered components. The successful candidate brings deep expertise in financial governance, compliance, and integration within complex international structures.
Candidates should demonstrate:
- Previous roles as a CFO, Finance Director, or Group Controller in a private equity-backed or multinational industrial organisation
- Proven success in financial integration, governance strengthening, and post-acquisition performance improvement
- Strong command of reporting, closing, and consolidation processes, ideally with experience in ERP environments (SAP or Microsoft Dynamics)
- Strategic thinking combined with hands-on operational execution and a data-driven management style
- Confidence and composure when engaging with international stakeholders under performance pressure
- Excellent English communication skills and the ability to work effectively in cross-border, multicultural environments
