About Our Client:
Our client is a European subsidiary of a German-owned multinational group in the automotive systems and industrial components sector. With fewer than 500 employees, the organisation operates a strategically important manufacturing facility within a broader international network.
The company supplies major Tier 1 and OEM customers and is currently managing an accelerated industrial ramp-up, with a high volume of simultaneous production launches underway. To bring cohesion, performance, and strategic direction to its end-to-end supply chain function, the company is seeking an interim Supply Chain Manager to lead this transformation ahead of a permanent appointment.
Project Description:
The Role
This interim assignment is focused on redesigning and stabilising the site’s supply chain leadership function during a period of high industrial complexity and change. The successful candidate will be expected to provide both operational control and strategic alignment across planning, logistics, and material flow.
- Interim Supply Chain Manager reporting directly to the Site General Manager
- Mandated to lead the full scope of supply chain activities including planning, materials management, inbound/outbound logistics, and inventory control
- Identify and correct structural weaknesses across supply chain operations to improve responsiveness, visibility, and alignment with industrial ramp-up
- Deliver stabilisation of key functions, including warehouse operations, during a transition from outdated processes to more disciplined, measurable performance
- Align cross-functional teams (planning, production, purchasing, logistics) to enable seamless execution of ongoing and future industrial projects
- Prepare the groundwork for permanent succession by building robust processes, reporting lines, and clear KPIs across the supply chain function

Interim Manager Required Skills:
This role is suited to a senior interim supply chain executive with experience stabilising and scaling industrial operations in complex manufacturing environments.
- Former site-level or group-level Supply Chain Manager or Interim Operations Lead in automotive or process-driven manufacturing sectors
- Strong operational command of end-to-end supply chain disciplines including planning, materials, inventory, and logistics
- Track record of leading supply chain transformation under pressure: ramp-ups, product launches, or crisis recovery
- Pragmatic and structured leadership style with the ability to stabilise day-to-day operations while introducing longer-term improvement frameworks
- Confident managing internal stakeholders across production, engineering, and quality to align operational priorities
- Fluent in Spanish; previous experience working in German corporate environments and with international industrial customers is strongly preferred
This is a critical interim mandate for a high-impact operational leader who can bring structure, performance, and continuity to a fast-moving manufacturing operation preparing for its next phase of growth.
