About Our Client:

Our client is a well-known international company active in the non-automotive manufacturing sector, producing consumer products from aluminum based on individual customer requirements (B2C model). With a market presence of approximately 25 years, they operate a production facility in South-Eastern Poland, employing around 300 employees. Currently, the company is experiencing severe leadership, financial and productivity issues at their Polish plant, necessitating the intervention of a skilled interim crisis manager to stabilize and enhance manufacturing operations. The group is navigating through a financial and operational turnaround.

Project Description:

  • Support the Owner as Interim Crisis Manager with a focus on Plant Operations.
  • Navigate the company through the current economic environment marked by recession and instability.
  • Actively manage and resolve leadership and productivity challenges within the manufacturing plant in Poland.
  • Motivate and guide the production team to achieve optimal production performance in a crisis scenario.
  • Communicate effectively with the General Manager and owner based in the DACH region to ensure alignment on Group objectives and strategies.
  • Actively manage the plant under strict cost measures, tight working capital resources, and low morale due to the ongoing crisis mode.
  • Oversee daily operations to maintain continuous production, regardless of the broader financial restructuring efforts.

Interim Manager Required Skills:

  • Extensive experience in crisis management, restructuring, and operational turnaround of a manufacturing plant in a cross-cultural context.
  • Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of motivating, improving, and demanding excellence from staff, even under decreased morale.
  • Hands-on focus on shop-floor management and operational performance. Ability to communicate effectively and work on an equal footing with senior management, owners, and other stakeholders.
  • Strong customer orientation with a mature communication style.
  • Fluency in English and Polish is a must, with German being an advantage.

Key Requirements:
