1352 Interim CFO Restructuring Poland
About Our Client:
A privately owned industrial manufacturing business within the portfolio of an international family investment group is entering a critical phase of operational and financial restructuring in Poland. The company employs approximately 200 people and operates in a highly competitive manufacturing environment currently affected by market volatility, margin pressure, and declining demand.
The business requires immediate interim executive leadership to stabilise financial performance, strengthen governance, improve operational transparency, and support a broader turnaround agenda. The assignment sits at the centre of a high-pressure transformation environment where fast decision-making, disciplined cash management, and close operational involvement are essential.
This is a hands-on interim leadership mandate within a mid-sized manufacturing organisation undergoing significant restructuring and performance improvement initiatives.
Project Description:
The Interim CFO will take direct responsibility for restoring financial control, improving management visibility, and supporting the operational restructuring of the business. This is not a supervisory or advisory assignment from a distance. The role requires strong on-site presence, close engagement with day-to-day operations, and active leadership during a period of organisational pressure and change.

- Implement disciplined cash flow, treasury, and working capital controls to protect liquidity and improve decision-making
- Establish robust management reporting and controlling processes to increase financial transparency and operational visibility
- Support operational performance improvement initiatives across the business
- Strengthen governance structures, financial discipline, and reporting accuracy within the organisation
- Provide commercially grounded leadership capable of balancing restructuring priorities with operational continuity
- Operate as a highly hands-on interim executive embedded directly within the business environment
Interim Manager Required Skills:
The assignment requires an interim executive with proven experience in financially and operationally challenged industrial environments.
- Interim CFO or restructuring leadership experience within manufacturing or industrial businesses
- Strong background in crisis management, turnaround execution, and financial stabilisation
- Track record of improving cash management, controlling, and financial governance under pressure
- Experience working with shareholder-driven environments such as family offices, portfolio companies, or private equity-backed businesses
- Strong operational mindset with the ability to work closely with local management teams on-site
