1360 Interim HR Manufacturing
About Our Client:
Our client is an international manufacturing group operating multiple production facilities across Europe. As part of a broader growth strategy, one of its Central European operations is undergoing significant expansion, including new production capacity, workforce growth, and the transfer of selected activities from other European locations.
The site is expected to more than double in size over the coming years. To support this transition, the business requires an experienced Interim HR Manager Manufacturing who can provide immediate leadership, strengthen local HR capabilities, and support a rapidly evolving manufacturing environment.
Project Description:
The business has reached a stage where existing HR support structures are no longer sufficient for the scale and complexity of the operation.
The site is experiencing rapid growth, increased recruitment demands, and greater organisational complexity. Plant leadership requires a senior HR professional capable of building credibility across the workforce, supporting employee relations, strengthening HR processes, and acting as a true business partner during a period of transformation.
This is a highly visible role within an international matrix organisation where English is the primary language of communication with regional and group stakeholders.
The Role
Reporting to regional HR leadership and working closely with the Plant Manager, the Interim HR Manager Manufacturing will take ownership of the site’s HR agenda during a critical growth phase.
Key priorities include:
- Providing hands-on HR leadership across the manufacturing operation
- Supporting workforce expansion across both blue-collar and white-collar populations
- Strengthening employee relations and workforce engagement
- Building and improving HR processes, routines, and operational discipline
- Supporting managers with performance, organisational, and people-related challenges
- Acting as the primary HR Business Partner for local plant leadership
- Collaborating with international stakeholders across Europe
- Creating a stable HR foundation capable of supporting future growth
This is an on-site assignment requiring visible leadership presence and strong engagement with both employees and management teams.
Why This Assignment Is Interesting

Rather than inheriting a mature HR structure, you will help shape the future HR operating model of a site undergoing significant expansion. The assignment combines operational HR leadership, organisational development, workforce growth, and transformation within a dynamic industrial environment.
The successful interim executive will have the opportunity to leave behind a stronger, more scalable HR function capable of supporting the next stage of the company’s growth journey.
